Practice Background
Nick Hoogeveen & Associates – Background
“Early in 2004 Nick Hoogeveen, a Chartered Accountant of 18 years and having previously been one of four partners in public practice, set up practice on his own account at 5 Princes Street in Paeroa. Together with his wife Christina and eight experienced staff that had worked previously with Nick, he commenced business on 1 April 2004 operating from premises while still undergoing refurbishment on two levels.
By the end of April, Nick and his team had reviewed & established all office procedures, had installed a new wireless computer system and updated accounting software to the latest versions. The office infrastructure was in place and with the help of local tradesmen, his wife Christina and their six children, had completed painting and redecorating the new premises.”

And in October 2009 just over five years later, Nick Hoogeveen & Associates had outgrown their original premises
Nick & Christina purchased what is known in Paeroa as the ‘old BNZ building’ and having completed the renovations and refurbishment, a team of fourteen moved into their new premises in October 2009. Handy to their premises of over 5 years at No. 5 Princes Street, the move has taken the main office of Nick Hoogeveen & Associates approximately 30 metres down the street to the door of No. 1 Princes Street.
